Its round and lush texture wraps around a core of ripe red and blue fruit and sturdy structure. Layered with ripe blackberry, red plum, creamy cocoa, and sweet vanilla on the palate, super fine grain tannins bring the experience to a lengthy, broad finish. Grown in the heart of Napa Valley, this proprietary fermentation process and blend consists of a selection of my finest lots and was sorted FOUR times down to the berry, fermented in small open top fermenters, and matured in my finest selection of 100% new French oak barrels for 20 months.
