A nice pale yellow color with shiny highlights. This white Châteauneuf-du-Pape develops a magnificent aromatic nose. This wine is rich and sweeping in mouth.
Served chilled, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc can be drunk within the first years or preserved 6 to 8 years. Ideal on its own as an aperitif or to be served with pies, grilled fishes or in light sauce.
45% Clairette, 35% Grenache Blanc, 20% Bourboulenc sourced from 35 to 45 years old vines. 70% vinified in stainless steel vats and 30% in demi-muids and barrels. Aged for 6 to 8 months with regular lees stirrings.
A blend of 45% Clairette, 35% Grenache Blanc and 20% Bourboulenc, the 2018 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is mostly tank-fermented and aged (20% goes into barrels). It's full-bodied and plush, with fruit that consists of tangerines, limes and white peaches. Big up front, it gradually narrows to a tight, crisp finish.
Crisp red-apple and crushed minerals on the nose intensify into juicier pineapple and tangerine on the palate of this medium-bodied white. A blend of Clairette Rose, Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Bourboulenc and Clairette, it's a bright, zesty expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc best enjoyed young. — A.L.C.I
