Deep purple colour. Aromatic, rich nose of black fruits (blackberry and plum). Crisp and fruity on the palate, with a lingering finish of Provençal scrubland.
This wine is best served at a temperature of 16-17°C, without needing to be decanted. It is ideal with grilled meats or cow’s milk cheese. Its potential will develop over one to five years after bottling.
50% Grenache, 35% Mourvèdre, 15% Syrah
From the estate’s young vines, planted on clay-limestone soil, this classic delivers the special charm of Southern Rhône red wines, with great aromatic concentration and character. Grapes are harvested early in the morning to preserve their freshness and aromatic richness.
Each grape variety and plot is vinified separately to extract the essence of the vineyard’s different terroirs. The strong presence of Mourvèdre adds nuance to this classic Côtes du Rhône blend, contributing to its crispness, savoriness and drinkability. Gentle extraction of aromas and tannins takes place during a 3-week vatting period in concrete tanks. Wines are aged for between 6 and 12 months, with Syrah and Mourvèdre aged in barrels and demi-muids.
