Brilliant ruby red with elegant garnet highlights. Typical aroma of mature red fruit in combination with vanilla, chocolate and tabacco notes. Rounded and full bodied, fresh and well structured in the mouth. Balanced tannins give elegance and persistence. 

Corte dei Venti was born out of  that bond, the winery seeks to offer wines that express the strength and generosity of territory, while maintaining the characteristic elegance of the region.

Traditional red fermentation in small stainless steel vats at 30°C, with pumping over and delestage. 24–25 day maceration. Molalactic fermentation in stainless steel, followed by a natural ‘decantation’ in winter which precedes the transferal into oak.

Aged for 36 months in 20–25hl Slavonic oak barrels. Matures in bottle for a minimum of 8 months in a temperature controlled cellar.

Aromas of dark-skinned fruit, porcini and grilled herbs take shape in the glass. The rather evolved palate offers blackberry jam, clove and toasted hazelnut alongside tightly wound tannins Drink 2023–2027. -K.O.
