Pair with turkey prepared with thyme and rosemary or other grilled white meat, or medium flavored cheese.
Since 1962, the Mourre family has been producing wines in Vacqueyras, Rhône valley, SE of France.
With a training of geologist, Jean-Louis Mourre took over the estate in 1995. He considers the sedimentary soils, the flora, the climate and the wine making in order to make a consistent quality each vintage. Le Colombier produces around 18000 cases of wine per year of AOP Vacqueyras, AOP Côtes du Rhône, and IGP Méditerranée.
70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre aged entirely in steel in order to maintain the fruit.
