This expressive wine is filled with bright red fruit flavors of cherry, raspberry and currants, along with nuances of earth, and a velvety smooth finish. Well-balanced, with soft tannins, this wine is great with meats and cheeses.

70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre. No ageing in wood in order to maintain the fruit.

Since 1962, the Mourre family has been producing wines in Vacqueyras, Rhône valley, South East of France. With a training in geology, Jean-Louis Mourre took over the estate in 1995. He considers the sedimentary soils, the flora, the climate and the wine making in order to make a consistent quality each vintage. Le Colombier produces around 18000 cases of wine per year of AOP Vacqueyras, AOP Côtes du Rhône, AOP Ventoux and IGP Méditerranée
