On the palate it is very balanced, with vibrant minerality and acidity combined with notes of good bottle aging. Ripe fruit such as pineapple and melon predominate, finishing with a rich, full and very persistent finish.

Fundacao Eugenio de Almeida Description

Produced from the Antão Vaz and Arinto grape varieties, planted in the vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. When the grapes reach their ideal ripeness, they are harvested and transported to the winery, where the technological process begins with total destemming and light crushing.

The grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 16°C. This is followed by aging on fine lees for twelve months with regular bâtonnage.
