Classic Grüner aromatics of green pear, white pepper, and citrus zest open on the nose, layered with subtle stone fruit and wet stone nuances. The palate is crisp and energetic, with fine lees texture, bright acidity, and a savory mineral finish.
Drawn from various southeast-facing vineyard parcels in Niederösterreich, Grüner Veltliner Vision 2025 is rooted in limestone-conglomerate soils at elevations of 200–400 meters, with vines ranging from 10 to 50 years of age.
In the cellar, the grapes were crushed, cooled, and given 2 hours of skin contact before pressing, followed by spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel at 18°C. The wine then remained on its fine lees for 3 months in stainless steel, building texture and complexity while preserving freshness, aromatic lift, and the distinctly mineral, cool-climate profile of the site.
Markus Huber, the 10th generation winemaker at the family-owned Reichersdorf winery with over 220 years of history, took over and transformed it in 2000. He’s earned accolades such as the Falstaff award for precision and elegance; recognized for putting Traisental on the international map, the winery prioritizes uncompromising quality and sustainable practices.
