The Mora&Memo Nau Cannonau appears an impenetrable, intense ruby red color with violet reflections in the glass. A bouquet of red berries and spices and coffee leads to smooth and elegant tannins in a great structure and complexity on the palate.
Mora&Memo vineyards are located in the south-eastern corner of Sardinia, a rolling hill area surrounded by the Sette Fratelli peaks, the tallest mountains of the south of the island. It’s an area of strong winegrowing vocation, where the white limestone soil is punctuated by the green of the vines and the olive trees together with the Mediterranean flora.
100% Cannonau. Maceration on the skins with selected yeasts for about 8/10 days at controlled temperature. After the maceration fermentation continues in stainless steel vats. At the end of fermentation, the product continues to refine in wood for about three months, then in stainless steel vats for about six months at the end of the ageing process the wine goes in bottle for three months before its release.
