A dark garnet core with a cardinal rim, the inaugural 2023 Crooked Smile opens with intense aromatics of blackberry, blackcurrant, and fresh pine. On the palate, a lush, vibrant entry leads to a mid-palate of blue and black fruit, plum and chocolate covered cherry notes . Chock full of texture and grippy tannins, the finish is inviting with a bright crescendo of crème de cassis and chapparal.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petite Sirah aged for 26 months in French Oak, 30% New.

You’d think that spray painting a smiley face is a pretty easy feat, but in reality, it took us more than a dozen attempts just to get close. The angle, spray volume and stroke all need to be applied in unison to have a shot at perfection. Ultimately, we gave up on the pursuit and realized that we had a collection of unique pieces of art—surrounded by crooked smiles staring back at us. We couldn’t help but smile back and chose the best one of them all to become Crooked Smile.
