Fruit for Robert Mondavi's Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon comes from their own vineyards in Oakville and Stags Leap as well as from growers with whom we have long-term relationships. This wine is juicy, lively, and plush with a good sweetness and a lengthy finish.

Made of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. F

Fruit for Robert Mondavi Napa Valley Cabernet comes from sub-appellations throughout the Valley, each of which have been specially chosen for being a true reflection of place, a gorgeous expression of Napa Valley. Nearly half of this year’s blend is sourced from the deep, well-drained soils of Oakville, which created gorgeously dark, supple wines framed by fine tannin. Complementary portions of the blend come from Stags Leap District, Oak Knoll, Yountville and Rutherford.

Mondavi's biggest production and most affordable cabernet is extremely well made, powerful but drinkable. Full-bodied and richly flavored, with medium to full tannins, it’s packed with dark cherries, grilled plums, dried blueberries and savory, tobacco-leaf nuances.
