Black cherry, red licorice, orange peel and tart cranberry fill the nose with hints of dark spice. The palate is full, with bright raspberry and blackberry flavors with a delicate yet structured finish. 

Santa Barbara County is one of the most diverse growing areas on the West Coast. With soil diversity and unique micro climates, it is exciting to explore and combine different vineyards to make a wine that captures the region as a whole. Biodynamic, Organic and Sustainable farmed vineyards were used to create this bottling.

100% Pinot Noir sourced from: 48% Fiddlesticks (Sustainable Farmed), 24% Donnachadh Vineyard (Organic Farming), 18%Presqu'ile Vineyard (Organic Farming), 10% Wild King Vineyard (Organic Farming) 

Aged for 10 months on the lees in 8% new French oak, tight grain.

Crushed currant and cranberry aromas meet with coriander and earthy funk on the nose of this county-wide blend. The palate amplifies the earthy tone, with kelp and seashore flavors giving depth to the tart black raspberry core. -M.K.
