This Barbera displays a deep ruby red color, whereas the bouquet reminds us of black cherries and raspberries. The taste is silky, balanced and rich with hints of spices.

Suitable for pasta dishes, white and red meat, medium aged cheese. Wine suited to all courses.

Since the beginning of the 70s until today Tenuta Tenaglia has established itself as one of the major producers of autochthon wines of Monferrato, such as Barbera d’Asti, Barbera del Monferrato and Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese, earning national and international awards including the Three glasses of Gambero Rosso, the gold medal of Decanter and many others.

Traditional vinifcation. The alcoholic fermentation takes place at about 28-29°C in stainless steel tanks. After the racking is placed in malolactic fermentation.

Tart wild fruit aromas mixed with plum, game and violets give this wine a vibrant and forward personality on the nose. The palate is plump, juicy and fun with loads of black cherry balanced out by zippy acidity. Best Buy -J.P.
