Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto (750ml)

A perfect balance between fresh citrus tones and the light and floral bitterness of spices such as rose and lavender. To fully enhance the citrus flavors and floral notes, taste Italicus in the “Gallicus” cocktail, which is a blend of 40 ml Italicus with 40 ml Prosecco, ice and green olives.

The word ‘Rosolio’ comes from the Latin ‘ros olis’ translated in English as ‘morning dew’.

This name was given because farmers would harvest the ingredients used to make Rosolio early in the morning when the concentration of flavor was highest and coincidentally the crop was heavy with dew.

Before the appearance of Vermouth & Amaro in Italy, Rosolio was the main drink enjoyed by the king of Savoia and often served as Aperitivo di Corte’.
