The Axel des Vignes Bordeaux appears a deep red with ruby reflections in the glass. The nose reveals ripe red fruits (cherry, raspberry) along with notes of plum and vanilla. The palate is round and smooth with velvety tannins and fruity, lingering finish.
Axel des Vignes Rouge will be ideal to accompany a charcuterie board, grilled red meat, slow-cooked dishes, lasagna, eggplant alla parmigiana, or a cheese platter.
100% Merlot
The vinification focus is on aromas. The Merlots are harvested at perfect maturity. They then undergo a solid phase of thermovinification. Selected yeasts, temperature control (16-20°C max).
