Barefoot Wine gets its name from the way winemaker Davis Bynum initially crushed grapes - barefoot. In the 1960s, Bynum, the founder of Barefoot Bynum Burgundy, used this unconventional method in his garage. The name and the footprint logo reflect this playful and down-to-earth approach to winemaking.
