The Cantine Pepi Matto Syrah is a ruby-colored wine with purple highlights that comes from Syrah grapes. The nose reveals notes of small, fresh red fruits, accompanied by balsamic nuances typical of the Mediterranean scrub. The round and harmonious taste reveals an exuberant freshness, perfected by the subtle texture of tannins and a good flavor. 

Matto in the sense of out of the ordinary like the name of the Syrah grape variety, perhaps Persian, perhaps Sicilian from Syracuse, passed through France and then returned home.
