The Casa de Santar Reserva appears an intense ruby color with brownish tones in the glass. The nose reveals intense berry fruit and spices followed by nuances of fruit confit and roasted red nuances. The palate is fruity, soft, and balanced with a velvety finish.
It´s ideal to consume with matured cheeses and a structured and delicate confection of Mediterranean, Chinese, Indian and African cuisine.
50% Touriga Nacional, 25% Alfrocheiro, 25% Aragonez (Tempranillo) aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and 2 months in bottle.
