Behind the beautiful yellow gown, you will discover a traditional Sauternes, smooth and delicate, one that lingers long on the palate and possesses, depending on the vintage, the subtle flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, banana, vanilla, apricot, candied lemon, and even spices, prunes and honey.

Displaying a pale gold color, the 2019 Raymond-Lafon offers a knock-out nose of Seville orange marmalade, lemon meringue pie, pineapple tart and dried apricots with fragrant suggestions of jasmine, candied ginger, spice cake and lime blossoms plus a waft of wild fungi. The sweet, rich, unctuous palate delivers layer-upon-layer of candied citrus, exotic spice and stone fruit flavors, framed by a satiny texture and oodles of freshness, finishing very long and earthy.
