Cloudy Bay Description
Intense and vibrant. The nose is open, appealing and expressive, with ripe passionfruit, white peach and a hint of lime. The palate is deliciously concentrated and tropical, underpinned by nectarine and blossoms. Saline notes bring structure, while passionfruit and vibrant citrus acidity bring balance. Sauvignon Blanc is a natural match for almost any seafood. Some of our favorites at the winery include tempura oysters, locally-caught sashimi, and steamed mussels with garlic, citrus and parsley. It’s also a great match for green salads and goats’ cheese. A hint from us: if it goes with lemon, it goes with Sauvignon Blanc.
