The wine appears a brilliant dark red robe in the glass. A nose opens with aromas of blackberries, raspberries, blackcurrant and licorice. The mouth offers notes of ripe fruits, spices and pepper. An aromatic freshness, a perfect balance and a beautiful structure. 

65% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault

In 1956, Gigondas LaCave was created in the heart of the Gigondas region by a handful of winegrowers wishing to defend their identity and economic interests as winegrowers. They wanted to create a Gigondasian joint venture, of a size significant enough to professionally address the oenological and commercial issues related to the vinification, maturing and distribution of Gigondas wine. In this process, yesterday as today, there was, there is a fierce, militant desire to build our appellation from this land where we live, in the most active, authentic way possible, in order to develop with the other winegrowers a highly qualitative image of our wines from this exceptional terroir.
