The DeForville Barbera d'Alva appears bright and deep ruby red in the glass. The nose is vinous and fruity, with notes of fresh fruit, blackberry, jam, spicy and toasted aromas. The wine is full and round, with balanced acidity and freshness.

Perfect with any dish, especially with pasta, meat, game and fresh or ripe cheeses.

100% Barbera obtained from the vineyards cultivated in the commune of Barbaresco, this wine is characterized by fresh aromas with notes of blackberry, jam and spices. It is an enticing Barbera d’Alba with a modern taste.

The grapes are crushed and are then fermented in stainless steel for almost two weeks after which the wine is racked into oak barrels and “botti” for one year prior to bottling.  The average age of the vines is 30 years.
