The Domaine Costa Lazaridi Amethystos Rouge appears a bright and dense purple red color in the glass. The nose reveals a well structured bouquet, combining aromas of red forest fruit, cherry jam and spices on a discreet oak background. The palate is warm and full at first, it then unrolls its richness, structure and its noble tannins. The long finish sees the return of of the aromas of fruit and spices.

Loves all red meats but is especially fond of lamb chops or oven baked leg of lamb. A joy with a red sauce beef casserole or soft mature cheeses like brie or camembert.

The touch of the great “Flying” winemaker Michel Rolland, who consults our estate on red winemaking, leaves a strong impression on our oldest red wine label.

70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 10% Agiorgitiko

In order to balance the fruit with the oak, the wine ages for 12 months in french oak barrels of which 25% new.
