The Domaine Henri Boillot Meursault appears a bright yellow color with hints of green in the glass. The nose is very pure and delicate showing slight reduction along with yellow fruit, apricot and mirabelle plum. The palate is rich, smooth and precise with mineral notes and excellent length with a salty finish.

100% Chardonnay aged 20% in a 350l new oak barrel for 10 months.

This is actually quite aromatically similar to the Bourgogne save for displaying notably more floral elements. The caressing but decidedly punchy medium weight flavors also display fine delineation that carries over to the youthfully austere, lemony and sneaky long finale. This could use better depth but more should reasonably develop if given a chance and my rating assumes that it will. Sweet spot Outstanding Drink: 2027+

Taut and incisive, the 2021 Meursault Village offers up aromas of pear, orange oil, white flowers and toasted nuts, followed by a medium-bodied palate built around tangy acids, and concluding with a saline finish.
