The Domaine Pierre Duret Quincy appears a pale gold color with green tints in the glass. A richly aromatic nose with fragrances of white flowers and fruity notes (exotic fruits, orange) lead to a bright, fruity and quite delicate palate. The wine finishes with some grapefruit freshness and finesse.
The Quincy vineyard is the birthplace of Sauvignon Blanc, the only grape variety cultivated within the appellation. This king of grapes finds its finest expression and optimal maturity in the plots of Domaine Pierre Duret and allows for the translation of a unique terroir into a unique wine. Beneath its pale yellow color, it perfectly reveals the elegance and character of Sauvignon Blanc.
Domaine Pierre Duret stretches across a former plateau in the Cher region, with good exposure and sandy and gravelly soils that warm up quickly. The 14 hectares of vines are cultivated using sustainable agriculture, with great respect for the environment and the terroir.
