This is a dry white wine obtained from !00% Sauvignon grapes, a perfect distinctive expression of its terroir. Its color is an intense bright yellow. Its nose is rich with varietal aromas, with hints of verbena, fern and elderberry. Its flavor is complex and persistent with sapidity, freshness and full body. It pairs perfectly with fish and shellfish, delicate courses and rich salads, poultry, and tempura.
The region of Friuli is home to over 30 varities of grapes yielding some of Italy's most distinctive wines. Some examples are the Refosco, Schioppettino and Pignolo, all of wich are of a strong and intriguing character.
The sweet wines Ramandolo and Picolit were the first to earn DOCG libels in Friuli.
