The Josephus Mayr Erbhof Unterganzner St. Magdalener is a ruby colored wine in the glass. The wine exhibits a soft peppery and fruity aroma with hints of almond followed by a fruity, elegant and well balanced  flavor on the palate.

Pairs with a variety of flavorful dishes: charcuterie, pasta with porcinis, or game meats.

90% Schiava (Schiava Grossa, Schiava Piccola, Schiava Media), 10% Lagrein. Grapes are de-stemmed and crushed; alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature; maceration on the skins for about a week. Malolactic fermentation and a short maturation period take place in big oak barrels.
