The uniqueness of this cuvée is deeply rooted; its originality has been consolidated over time. A wine without boundaries! Pinot Grigio is the backbone of this wine, giving it structure, breadth, smoothness, and warmth. Gewürztraminer is crucial for the aromatic quality of the nose. Riesling is crucial for achieving the right acidity balance and enhancing the complexity of the flavors. Three such different grape varieties for such a unique wine.
Suitable for accompanying conversation, ideal with spicy finger food and oriental cuisine or more simply with a good gorgonzola.
A blend of Pinot Grigio, Traminer, and Riesling. Fermentation takes place in 500-liter French oak barrels, followed by maturation in the same fermentation tanks on the fine lees for 11 months with frequent bâtonnage. This is followed by a lengthy maturation in stainless steel after blending. Bottling and bottle aging are completed.
Lis Neris preserves a limited number of bottles of special vintages, preserved in optimal conditions in the family vault. The wines in the "Caveau" collection reveal the magic of time.
