The fruit for this Beaujolais is a blend from carefully selected, high quality vineyards in southern Beaujolais, near Lyon. The granitic soil creates light, expressive Gamay grapes. Aged with semi-carbonic maceration to bring more tannins and structure to the wines, defining the Louis Jadot style and making bolder Beaujolais wines.
