Made with a blend of grapes harvested from vineyards planted over 25 years ago, planted in limestone, clay and tuff.  The wine is a beautiful medium ruby red with an intense nose overflowing with black cherry and violets. Soft and medium bodied on the palate, it balances rather present tannins with moderate acidity.  An ideal accompaniment to pasta dishes or medium aged cheese.

80% Sangiovese, 6% Merlot, 6% Ciliegiolo, 3% Canaiolo aged in large oak casks for 3 months.
