Petit Ours (Little Bear), named for Matthieu’s nickname, has a dark berry aroma on the nose accented with black pepper, violet, lavender, black olive and savory spice. Juicy, fresh and vibrant in the mouth with earthy complexity and sturdy tannins.

Matthieu Barret is a Biodynamic winemaker from Domaine de Coulet in Cornas. His love of savory Northern Rhone reds brought him to a vineyard in the southern Rhone village of Visan planted exclusively to Syrah and farmed organically and Biodynamically.
