This wine is a bright, ruby red color, with brick red hints. The aromas are intense and complex, with vanilla, spiced and aromatic herbs perfectly blended with mature red fruit. The mouth shows very balanced, fine, elegant and rounded structure. It has a long, very pleasing finish.

Dark garnet in the glass, this wine offers aromas of cassis, dried Mediterranean herbs and saddle leather. The nice mix of savory and fruity flavors includes black-olive paste, thyme, roasted fennel bulb, pomegranate and raspberry. Downy tannins hang on into the enduring finish. -M.D.
