The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with expressive aromas of black cherry, ripe blackberry, and plum, accented by cedar, vanilla bean, and a hint of baking spice from oak aging. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured, delivering layers of dark fruit, mocha, and dried herbs, wrapped in firm yet polished tannins. A lingering finish of toasted oak and spice rounds out this classic Paso Robles Cabernet.

This Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from a range of Vina Robles estate vineyards across five Paso Robles districts—Creston Valley, El Pomar, Estrella, Geneseo, and Adelaida. Each district contributes a unique element to the final blend, resulting in a layered, site-driven expression of Paso Robles Cabernet.

87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc, 1% Malbec

Following primary fermentation, the wine was aged in French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels, for 18 months to ensure harmony and complexity in the final blend.

Rich, spicy and well-structured in tannins, this full-bodied wine tastes bold, deep and intense. Black cherry, blackberry, oak char, graphite, iron, cinnamon and clove flavors are layered among noticeable tannins that are right for such a big red. Drink now or hold.
