The Yarden Pinot Noir presents appealing aromas of ripe strawberries and violets, intermingling with mixed spice and hints of earth. With light-to-medium body, this aromatic and complex wine is satisfyingly flavorful.

Enjoyable upon release, the Yarden Pinot Noir will develop in the bottle over a few years and stay in outstanding drinking shape for some five to eight years from harvest. Try pairing this food-friendly wine with pan-fried lamb tenderloin, grilled salmon fillets, or caramelized onion and Parmesan risotto. 

The Galilee (or Galil) is the northernmost — and generally considered the best — appellation in Israel. The highest quality growing area within the appellation is the Golan Heights (or simply the Golan), also the coldest region in Israel. The vineyards on this volcanic plateau rise from 1,300 feet to 3,900 feet above sea level and receive snowfall in the winter. Golan Heights Winery is located in the town of Katzrin in the central Golan.
