Round and sweet on the palate, honey and cane flowers really shine through. The stewed banana and grilled pineapple, the signature of Rhum J.M, is ever present as well as the unmistakable vegetal and mineral undertones.

Rhum J.M Terroir Volcanique is a unique expression that utilizes our on-site cooperage to carry out a double-char process resulting in a complex extraction of wood flavors.

Through innovative techniques of barrel toasting and blending, Master Blender Karine Lassalle is able to create a blended symphony of three-year-old rums that perfectly capture the terroir of the volcano. Smoke and earth are complimented by spice and brûléed tropical fruit in this exceptional and complex spirit.
