Located on the lands of Moulis-en-Médoc, the former granary of Bordeaux, Châteaux Lalaudey and Pomeys benefit from a unique geographical location. The smallest appellation in the Médoc, Moulis is a ribbon of multiple exceptional terroirs.
The wines from this vineyard are harmonious, generous, and full of charm. Thanks to the terroir, finesse and power are the order of the day. Accessible with a rich bouquet, the wines from Châteaux Lalaudey and Pomeys also have very interesting aging potential thanks to their noble tannins.
The vineyards are planted to 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27.5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 14.5% Petit Verdot.
This wine is richly structured, with fine tannins from both the fruit and wood aging. The wine's power is mitigated by juicy black-currant flavors and the great ripeness. Drink this wine from 2024. -R.V.
