The Domaine Michel Niellon Bourgogne Chardonnay appears a pale lemon color in the glass. Exotic aromas swirl with white and yellow fruit notes followed by a flavorful and juicy palate with apple, pear and citrus.

Grapes fermented in stainless steel tanks and near the end of fermentation, the wine is transferred to small oak barrels to ferment dry and complete malolactic fermentation during barrel aging. Batônnage is used sparingly as the wines of Chassagne are already rich.

All wines are aged eight to nine months in 20 - 30 percent new oak.
