The Medici Ermete Le Tenute Solo Reggiano appears an intense brilliant ruby red color in the glass.
The noseis intense and typical with a fruity redolence followed by a palate that is dry and fruity, round, fresh, lively and delectably harmonious.

Pair with Cured pork meats, such as salami from Felino, mortadella (large Bologna sausage), culatello (salami made of lean ham), raw ham; tortelli stuffed with fall squash and herbs.

Blackberry compote, black cherry jam and loads of savory spice leap out of the glass of this forward and giving Lambrusco. Herbs mixed with wild-berry pie filling fill the palate, finishing with a dried violet note. It is almost as if you are eating the grapes themselves. -J.P.
