Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte’s trademark style is stunningly vibrant, fresh, and elegant, with a joyful, fruit-forward verve and serious length — a truly distinctive profile for Champagne that’s made it a go-to favorite of consumers in France and here in the United States. The structure of the rosé is fine and dynamic, with unmistakable, abundant flavors of red currant, blueberry, and raspberry mixed with a hint of wild strawberry.
The Réserve Exclusive Brut Rosé comprises 10% chardonnay, 45% pinot noir, and 45% meunier and is aged two to three years in the cellar, enhancing the fine aromatics. Red wine accounts for up to 15-16% of the total blend. As the only house in Champagne to have five different vintages of reserve wine for each grape variety, the cellar team are able to apply extreme precision and consistency in their blending process. The resulting cuvées are complex blends that embody the full mosaic of the Champagne terroir.
Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte is France’s favorite Champagne, currently ranked as the No. 1 best-selling Champagne in France and the No. 3 best-selling Champagne in the world (IWSR 2024 on full-year 2023 data). Their origin story centers around Henri Macquart, pioneering founder of the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne, and Nicolas Feuillatte, a dynamic local businessman. Out of their shared passion for Champagne, a daring idea formed: create a new brand of excellence. An upstart that would knit together the tapestry of Champagne’s finest terroirs through an unrivaled network of heritage growers. Empowered by and headquartered at the Vinicole, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte was officially founded in 1976, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs.
Deeply rooted in Champagne’s heritage grower community, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte comprises 5,000 member growers across the entire appellation — accounting for one in three growers in the region — and spans the Côte des Blancs, the Côte de Bar, Montagne de Reims, and the Vallée de la Marne. This includes 11 of the region’s 17 Grands Crus and 26 of its 42 Premiers Crus. From this rare breadth of grapes, and thanks to the keen oversight of chief winemaker Guillaume Roffiaen, they have developed an approach and house style that is wholly unique.
The latest rendition of Feuillatte's NV Brut Réserve Exclusive Rosé offers up inviting aromas of peach, raspberries and cherry pits, followed by a medium to full-bodied, pillowy and seamless palate that's charming and demonstrative. This will drink well young.
