Deep purple color. Very complex character with aromas of red fruit and violets with hints of spices. On the palate it has a very good structure, fresh acidity and fine grain tannins.
100% Malbec aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, 20% in first use. Unfined.
Meaning "to yearn” in Italian. From the memoirs of Frances Mayes "Under the Tuscan Sun", the term "Bramare" captures the spirit in which Viña Cobos was founded.
Opening with an expressive, distinctly floral bouquet with blue- and black-fruited undertones, the 2022 Bramare Valle de Uco Malbec beautifully combines a compact yet dense texture with buoyant, effortless, floating lift. It concludes with a long, layered and tensile finish underpinned by a mineral-tinged core. This is a linear, focused counterpoint to the comparatively soft Bramare Luján de Cuyo Malbec bottling. Anticipated Maturity: 2024-2030
