The Finca Sophenia Altosur Malbec appears an attractive red with violet tones in the glass. Intense fruit aromas, cherry, blackberries and fresh plums combined with spicy and floral notes. On the palate, its sweet and round tannins increase the feeling of fruitiness and balance. Good intensity, concentration and persistence.
100% Malbec sourced from vineyards by the Andes, altitude 4000 feet. Soils of alluvial origin, loose and highly permeable structure. Special pruning, irrigation and canopy management to obtain a balanced vineyard that provides high quality grapes.
Aged 10% in used barrels and 90% in tanks for 10 months.
