This Beaujolais Le Perreon from Domaine de la Madone, is vinified gently in tank, to preserve every bit of fresh, aromatic and juicy fruit. It is character-rich and an exceptionally expression of Gamay! Creamy black cherry and blackberry notes show hints of mocha, licorice and herb in this supple, light-bodied red, with the light tannins giving a smooth texture throughout. 50+ years old on average, with many 75-00 years old! Steep & high altitude vines (450m) Indigenous yeast Aged in tank and concrete.
